Birth to Three
Do you have concerns about your child or a child you know? Do you have concerns about how the child:
• Walks
• Talks
• Listens
• Hears
• Sees
• Learns
• Plays
• Gets along with others?

If you have questions about the development of your child or a child you work with, now is the time to seek answers. By identifying a problem early, children with special needs gain the chance they deserve to develop to their fullest potential. When families understand their child’s special needs, they are better able to help the child and access community resources.

Birth to Three provides support at every age:
The Birth to 3 Program is Wisconsin’s early intervention program. The program works to support infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities. The Birth to 3 Program also supports each family’s knowledge, skills, and abilities to interact with and raise their child. There is a Birth to 3 Program in every county in the state.

Every public school district in Wisconsin has access to early childhood special education teachers and other specialists to provide individualized special education to young children with disabilities, ages 3 to 5.

Food Program - What is CACFP?
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is funded as part of the National School Lunch Act. The United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) provides funding to help children in schools and child care programs receive nutritious food. In Wisconsin the Food Program is administered by the Department of Public Instruction.

All children between the ages of 0 through 12 years, in child care are eligible to participate in this program. Each child can be paid for either two meals and one snack, or two snacks and one meal per day. There are two rates of reimbursement which will be explained when you call your food program representative.
